Harvest Craft Church

A Celebration of Thankfulness

Sunday, 4 October 2026

St George’s was filled with creativity, joy and gratitude as we hosted our Harvest Craft Church, exploring the theme of being thankful.

We had a fantastic time together, enjoying a variety of crafts that helped us reflect on all the things we have to be thankful for and the many ways God blesses our lives.

There was something for everyone to enjoy! We decorated tablecloths to celebrate and give thanks for the food we are given, and took time to write prayers of thanksgiving. We made bird feeders to thank God for the creatures that share our world, and model balloons to celebrate our much-loved pets. Weather spinners helped us reflect on the different kinds of weather that allow plants and crops to grow, while our conker creations celebrated the weird and wonderful creatures that God has made.

Each activity gave us a chance to pause, get creative and appreciate the amazing world around us. It was wonderful to see families coming together, sharing time, enjoying the crafts and thinking about the many things we can thank God for.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and to all those who helped make the event happen. Your time, enthusiasm and support helped bring joy to our local community, while strengthening friendships and building relationships along the way.

We are so grateful to everyone who made the day special and look forward to welcoming you to more Craft Church events in the future!

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.” — Psalm 107 v1
