Britwell Praise

On Sunday 12th July, St George's was delighted to host Britwell Praise, a special evening of worship that brought together three churches from our local community: St George's Church, Britwell Baptist Church, and the Church of God of Prophecy.

It was a joy to see so many people gathered together as one body to worship Jesus. A combined worship band, made up of musicians and singers from the three churches, led us in an uplifting evening of praise, creating a wonderful atmosphere of heartfelt worship.

One of the highlights of the evening was hearing a moving testimony from a member of our community who had come to the UK from Iran. They shared how they had found not only faith, but also a loving church family, speaking of the warm welcome and sense of belonging they had experienced. It was a powerful reminder of God's love and the importance of being a welcoming community.

We were also encouraged by an inspiring talk from Gideon Ruben of Britwell Baptist Church, who challenged us to continue seeking God together and living out our faith in our community.

Throughout the evening there was a real sense of God's presence as people from different church traditions came together with one purpose: to worship and praise Him. It was a wonderful expression of the unity we share in Christ and a reminder that we are stronger when we work together.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped organise the evening, to the musicians, speakers and volunteers, and to everyone who came along to worship.

This is just the beginning. We are excited about continuing to build relationships between our churches and look forward to hosting more Britwell Praise evenings in the future as we seek to serve and bless our community together.
